Vaikka Gamelabin käytävät ja tilat ovat täynnä pelialan veteraaneja, mukana on myös liuta uusia tulokkaita. Yksi tällainen on Windfolkia kehittävä Alejandro Dupuy, joka valoitti haastattelussa indiepelinsä taustoja.
"This is our project, it's called Windfolk, and we've just come out of university last year, our Masters program. And it's actually quite an ambitious project here. It's a third-person shooter with an airborne mechanic, like you're basically always in the air. We've created this alternate world of floating islands, much like the movie Avatar."
"You actually progress through a story-based campaign set in different stages, and you have to defeat the enemies."
"We've used all the basics we've learned last year during our Masters program, in which we actually sent the design and programming foundations for the game. But artistically [...] it takes longer, but we're producing only for the last three months."
