Jack Black ei lainkaan hokaise, miksi väki ei pidä elokuvasta The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Jack Black kunnostautui ihan tosissaan Bowserina elokuvassa The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Tuottoakin animaatioelokuva keräsi yli miljardi dollaria.

Total Filmin haastattelussa (josta kertoi Games Radar) Jack Black kertoi nähneensä leffan ennakkoon ja todenneensa, että tässä on hitti. Arviot olivat huonoja, joten Black ihmetteli, mitähän elokuvaa kriitikot olivat menneet katsomaan.

"They screened it for me a month before it hit theaters. I was like, 'We've got a hit on our hands.' I'm laughing and smiling the whole way through this movie."

"And then it came out and it got horrible reviews. I was like, 'What movie did they see?' Luckily, the world didn't listen to Rotten Tomatoes, and it was one of the biggest hits of all time."

The Super Mario Bros. Movie sai Rotten Tomatoesissa 59% lukemaksi, joten noin puolet kriitikoista ei pitänyt näkemästään.
