Bungie tiedostaa menettäneensä pelaavan kansan luottamuksen

Bungie on viihtynyt otsikoissa viime viikkoina valitettavista syistä. Yhtiö irtisanoi noin sata työntekijäänsä, ja joukossa oli myös pelialan veteraaneja. Lisäksi Destiny 2:n seuraava laajennus Destiny 2: The Final Shape lykättiin helmikuulta kesäkuulle. Samalla studion toinen peli Marathon siirrettiin vuodelle 2025. Bungie on nyt kommentoinut asioiden tilaa uudessa blogissa. Aiheena on tulevaisuus, eli "Our Path Forward".

Bungie tiedostaa menettäneensä pelaajien luottamuksen, ja siihen on tuleva muutos panostamalla The Final Shapeen oikein kunnolla. Laajennuksen parissa on 650 henkeä, ja asioista tiedotetaan lisää tulevien viikkojen aikana.

"We want to acknowledge the feedback and concerns you have about Lightfall and recent Seasons, as well as your responses to the reveal of The Final Shape. We know we have lost a lot of your trust. Destiny needs to surprise and delight. We haven't done this enough and that's going to change."
